I've learned that after you have a baby, you can go a very very long time without blogging. HI! :)
I've learned that, as much as I LOVE facebook, we all have to realize that it's a selective reality.
I've learned to be more relaxed about some things and more high strung about others.
I've learned that, in my personal life, I will never get anywhere on time and I will never be prepared for anything and it's ok.
I've learned that, when it comes right down to it, all you have is yourself and the family you've begun to create because you can't rely on ANYONE to help you.
I've learned that promises mean nothing.
I've learned that actions are everything.
I've learned that I have honestly married the best person in the entire world and without him I don't know where I'd be.
I've learned that the most important thing in life is your own mental and physical health.
I've learned that you could spend way too much money in trying to save a cat's life and it's worth every single penny.
I've learned that, with a baby, as soon as you get used to one thing, it changes.
I've learned that a friends come and go but with a precious few you should hold on.
I've learned that when you're trying to get on public transportation, even the lightest stroller is too heavy!
I've learned that what I've been through over the past three years has made me a stronger person and a better mommy.
I've learned that life begins after you have a little redheaded baby girl that looks and acts JUST LIKE YOU.

I’ve learned that sometimes you just need a vacation where you land at the airport, you take a taxi to your hotel, and you don’t leave for four days.
I’ve learned that Saran Wrap sticks to nothing you want it to stick to and everything you don’t.
I’ve learned that you can’t leave ceramic pots outside on the fire escape year-round without them cracking.
I’ve learned that you should specify if someone says 50% off or if they REALLY said 15% off.
I’ve learned that if you can rent a car by the hour, you should add at least one hour extra to the time you THINK you need.
I’ve learned that when you need five hooks, they will come in a package of four.
I’ve learned you should always put the teeniest bit of jalapeno and then taste test before you put in half of the jalapeno.
I’ve learned that it doesn’t matter if you are pregnant and literally dancing, NO ONE is going to allow you to cut in line to use the bathroom.
I’ve learned that renovations take TWICE AS LONG as originally planned.
I’ve learned that Honey Kix tastes exactly the same as regular Kix.

I’ve learned that a good friend will go to the doctor with you and sit with you as long as you need them there.
I’ve learned that even a perfume contributes to your own sense of character and style.
I’ve learned that two of the same exact pair of tights can fit differently.
I’ve learned that it’s impossible to read a sad book on the train.
I’ve learned that no matter how cold it is, you still find yourself wanting to wear your flip-flops.
I’ve learned that cats are no longer allergic to poinsettias as veterinarians originally thought.
I’ve learned that sometimes the best nights are the ones you spend alone doing exactly what you want.
I’ve learned it’s perfectly ok to spend twice as much in shipping than the actual cost of the item itself.
I’ve learned that you need, at all costs, to avoid the NYC post office in December.
I’ve learned that just because the Chinese restaurant is out of fortune cookies doesn’t mean you’re going to have a bad week!
I’ve learned that when you have a good feeling about something go with your instinct.
I’ve learned that with perseverance I can absolutely achieve anything I want.
I’ve learned that an apple a day will keep the doctor away – and maybe some pineapple too.
I’ve learned that if you call the cat, he will come.

I’ve learned that it’s amazing how far you’ll go when you want something bad enough.
I’ve learned that when someone close to you dies, there are some friends who know how to handle it and some that don’t.
I’ve learned that a new shower curtain will cause a cat to meow for SIX. HOURS. STRAIGHT.
I’ve learned that having a temporary roommate is actually kinda fun!
I’ve learned that there is nothing like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on potato bread.
I’ve learned that if you wait for something long enough you are bound to find it at the Brooklyn Flea for a GREAT price!
I’ve learned that it’s ok to skip the gym…. for three weeks.
I’ve learned that as amazing as a trip may be, some things you would rather keep to yourself.
I’ve learned that it is absolutely possible to be in 10 airports in a two-week time span and have every single one leave on time.
I’ve learned that I have the best cats and that anyone who meets them wants to steal them.
I’ve learned that there is nothing like vintage.
I’ve learned that you can REALLY be pushed over if the wind is blowing hard enough.
I’ve learned that doctors can’t make up your mind for you and there are things you need to decide for yourself.
I’ve learned that the bigger the piece of banana cake, the better…. Oh, and the more icing too.

I’ve learned that even though it’s brisk when you walk out that door, you will be sweating after that fifteen-minute walk to the train.
I’ve learned that it’s always better to talk to a person face to face.
I’ve learned that when it’s 85 degrees outside, you have every right to get up and start screaming in the aisle if there is no air conditioner on an airplane.
I’ve learned that there is a such thing as too hot and it’s called the Florida Keys.
I’ve learned that it’s absolutely possible for dry cleaning to get lost from point A to point B.
I’ve learned that there are honest people in Brooklyn who bring your clothing back to the cleaners when they realize it isn’t theirs!
I’ve learned that there is nothing like fresh flowers.
I’ve learned that health insurance will always find a way to deny a procedure 24 hours before the procedure is about to happen and you will spend 4 hours on the telephone asking each and every person “WHY?”.
I’ve learned that when you want it, you just have to straight-up ask for it!
I’ve learned that sometimes someone close to you doesn’t know what the fuck they are talking about and you just have to forgive them anyway.
I’ve learned there is nothing like reminiscing with an old friend.
I’ve learned that you should ALWAYS get that cat out from behind the futon when you are going to prepare for someone to sleep on it.
I’ve learned that any chance of my cat being hurt causes a full-blown panic attack.
I’ve learned that sometimes letting a friendship go for good is the best decision someone can ever make for their own well-being.
I’ve learned that nothing compares to having that nice couch IN YOUR APARTMENT that you’ve been visiting in the store for years.
I’ve learned that thoughtful gifts are the best kind (even if they are late!).
I’ve learned that with patience and hard work, Craigslist is the best place to find Danish modern house wares.
I’ve learned that when he says he’s coming a home a little later than expected, I should prepare something for myself to eat otherwise I’ll be eating my dinner at 10pm.
I’ve learned that sometimes you need to look out for #1!
